The See Ya Later Foundation is a local non-profit focused on uplifting youth and supporting families with children diagnosed with an acute, life-threatening medical crisis (primarily cancer). Our Seeds of Hope program provides crucial services like grocery and gas cards, utility assistance, car and home repair, and more to prevent food insecurity and homelessness. We also help families create memorable moments by sending them to local attractions or sporting events. Our Scott Banke Memorial Scholarship program awards $2,500 to exceptional seniors.

Mr. Brian Williams | Director | (253) 332-5144 | I am the WA State Director of the See Ya Later Foundation in Auburn, WA. I have been associated with SYL since 2006 and began as a volunteer/board member in 2010. I have over 25 years of fundraising and event hosting experience, having started my volunteer work with the Detlef Schrempf Foundation in 1998. I volunteered for DSF for 19 years and was an integral part of their auction/event teams for the golf tournament and their auction. In addition, I served as the President of the Auburn Police Officers Association from 2000-2006, leading the department in creating community-based events and fundraisers to assist underprivileged children and families within the community. While with the police department, I served as a volunteer for Special Olympics Washington and played and assisted with the Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising. In 2010, I was recruited to serve on the Board of SYL as we expanded our mission from Yamhill County into Auburn and the King and Pierce County area. We knew that the opportunity was there for us to reach out to families in crisis and assist them through our Seeds of Hope Program. To date, our Seeds of Hope team has assisted over 150 families and provided 55 college scholarships to local area students. I have honored to have been recognized by the following organizations; Community Quarterback Award-Seattle Seahawks Community Service Award - Daughters of the American Revolution Community Person of the Year Award – Auburn Reporter Distinguished Alumni Award – South Puget Sound Leadership Institute Hometown Hero Award - 100.7 The Wolf |
