A Message from UW Medicine - Valley Medical Center:

At Valley Medical Center, caring for our community like family are not just words on paper -- it is the mission our caregivers commit to and uphold each and every day. The past year fighting COVID has been a true test. We've given our all to care for patients in need during this unprecedented time and the support our community has shown in response has been nothing short of inspiring. We have seen everything from unimaginable hardships to remarkable acts of kindness. Through all of the trials of the last many months, Valley Medical Center, its staff, its caregivers and local partners have stood together providing support, encouragement and unwavering care at every turn.

In recognition of the incredible compassion and generosity shown by our community members and the businesses that call South King County home, we felt compelled to share with you a very special Gratitude Report. In it we share a collection of inspiring stories, highlight notable statistics and convey our thanks to those who have supported Valley's efforts to care for our community like family. [Click here to access the "Gratitude Report."]

Through it all, our caregivers have tirelessly upheld our collective commitment to continue to provide critical care to all, often going above and beyond to care for those in need. We couldn't have weathered this unprecedented time without them. In recognition of this, we are excited to share our newly launched Thank a Caregiver Program as a wonderful way to recognize the unwavering dedication of our staff members. They are true heroes.

While we are inspired by the generosity we've experienced, we know the need will not diminish in the coming months. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you! Support from individuals and businesses throughout our community means Valley can continue to expand and innovate the services we provide, and increase care to even more residents. Although we undoubtedly have more challenges to face, one thing is absolutely certain: we are resilient and will overcome. Together.
