1. Webinar: Indoor Air Quality Webinar (open to all sectors) on December 9th from 2 - 3 pm via Zoom
Public Health - Seattle & King County is offering a free webinar to provide information about Indoor Air Quality to keep customers safe. They are giving away a HEPA air cleaner for those businesses attending the webinar for the first time. 2. County COVID response funds available for:
Childcare: $7 million is available for childcare grants that are being administered by Child Care Resources. CLICK HERE for more information.
Small businesses: There is approximately $500,000 remaining in small business grants, which provide support for businesses affected by County COVID response sites. Specifically, these grants are for businesses affected by their proximity to a COVID-related isolation and quarantine site. CLICK HERE for more information.

4. Blog post - Update: Omicron case confirmed in King County
The first Omicron case has been reported in an individual who was vaccinated, and Public Health expects to see more cases confirmed in King County in the coming days and weeks. 5. Updated FAQs: Omicron Variant
The Coronavirus FAQ page has been updated with the latest information about the Omicron variant, with edits to Top FAQ #3: "Is Omicron as serious a health risk as other variants? What can I do to protect myself and others?", and Question #5 in the COVID Variants section: "Are the variants in Washington state and King County?" CLICK HERE to access the FAQs page.

All pop-up vaccination events are currently at capacity, and the calendar of events on Getting vaccinated in King County and pop-up schedule pages has been replaced with a note referring visitors to other vaccination resources.

Due to high demand for booster doses and pediatric vaccinations, King County vaccination sites are no longer able to accommodate walk-up/drop-in vaccinations. The web page and individual site listing have been updated to reflect this information.
