It's with a heavy heart that I make this statement:
On 4/16/20 at 9:52 pm, Walter "Kenny" Schoenhofen passed away. Walter was an Auburn Area Chamber board member and also a tenant at the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce offices. He had been fighting an illness that placed a lot of strain on his liver, which resulted in his passing. He is survived by his mother, two older brothers and sister, along with nieces, nephew and cousins. Walter had many friends dear to him and was passionate about his work as an Independent Living Specialist for Alliance of People with Disabilities.

We will miss Walter's smiling face around the office, at board meetings and CONNECT events. He was a truly caring man who took great pride in connecting with everyone. Thank you, Walter, for being a part of all of our lives.
