Project Description:
This Project will replace the traffic signal at Auburn Way North and 1st Street NE, upgrade curb ramps to meet ADA, and install curb extensions, storm utility upgrades, and new pavement markings.
Schedule:
Construction is anticipated to be completed later this summer.
Status Update:
The next phase of construction will require the closure of 1st Street NE west of the intersection (between Wells Fargo and the American Lighting Fixture). This closure will begin on June 27, 2022, and is anticipated to be reopened by the end of July 2022. Access to businesses will remain open during the duration of the project.
Additional Information:
We are dedicated to causing as little impact on you as possible, however, there will be traffic impacts and noise caused by construction activities.
