Join us for what's sure to be an amazing day at the airport. Learn more about general aviation and the Auburn Airport while you enjoy great food, great company, and the chance to be up close and personal with the people, planes, and helicopters that make flight possible.

Free airplane rides for children ages 8 – 17 will be provided by local pilots through the EAA Young Eagles Program. Food trucks, vendor tents, static aircraft displays, a bouncy house, face-painting, balloon-shaping, and a photo booth will also be attractions at the event.

“Auburn Airport Days is an annual community event that we are excited to be bringing back to Auburn after a two-year hiatus,” said Auburn Airport Manager Tim Mensonides. “We love the opportunity to encourage the love of aviation, in younger kids, especially. Pretty much every pilot remembers their first time seeing a plane and knowing that’s what they wanted to do. Being able to be part of that is an honor,” he said.

Additional activities will include helicopter rides offered for a fee from Classic Helicopters and Spanaflight flight school is offering discovery flights free of charge that day.

The Valley Regional Fire Authority and the Auburn Police Department will be on-site with some of their respective vehicles.
