The Outlet Collection | Seattle will celebrate their 25th Anniversary with a Time Capsule Exhibit, open for public viewing, between October 19th and November 15th.
THE STORY BEHIND THE TIME CAPSULE:
A time capsule was buried at The Outlet Collection | Seattle in 1995, the year the town center opened to the public. To celebrate the town center's 25th anniversary, the original time capsule will be opened and shared with the community on October 19, 2020.
Items from the 1995 capsule will be put on display at an exhibit in the town center. Throwback ites from the town center include the original lease, site plans from the development, and many photos from the building phase and initial opening of the property. Items collected from the community, notable pieces of history and an exhibit video will also be on display.
The Outlet Collection | Seattle team is incorporating interactive elements to engage guests in the anniversary celebration. Guests can enter to win a raffle prize, inclusive of items donated by various retailers, valued over $800. Additionally, each Friday afternoon, custom oversized coloring sheets will be available for children.
The exhibit will be open to the public to walk through during business hours. The Outlet Collection | Seattle is open seven days a week; Monday to Saturday, 11 am - 7 pm, and Sunday, 12 noon - 6 pm.
The exhibit is sponsored by VALLEY BUICK GMC.
