The Auburn WorkSource Center invites the public to attend THE CHOICE: BLIND CUSTOMER SERVICE AUDITIONS, an employment interview and job fair event. The purpose of the event is to provide job seekers with an opportunity to meet employers in the field of customer service.
Here's how it works:
1. Four employers will sit at tables with buzzers in front of them, facing the audience.
2. Participating job seekers will come prepared with a 60-second "commercial." Job seekers will not be in view of the employers. (This is a "blind" interview process.)
3. The employers will listen to the 60-second commercials from 5-8 job seekers and place their business card inside a designated envelope for each job seeker they wish to meet.
After THE CHOICE is over, everyone will be invited to participate in a larger job fair.
